K1u
If you have trouble installing many programs with Wine... try Crossover. I have already got all my steam games working under it perfectly... no lag at all! Of course it is paid... but it is worth it!
Sparda
Isn't cross over office based on wine (like Cydaga) but the focus been on office applications (as opposed to cydaga which focuses on games)?

No not really... It is basically Wine with bottles... most stuff that wont work with Wine works with Crossover... plus you can really integrate stuff into your system instead of having the emulated feel you get with Wine. deleted
It is Wine, just with Paid Developers and Closed Source. I use it all the Time on my Mac to run Half Life 2.
