Sparda
Get za RS232 cable, plug it in to ze serial port on your computer and the ze port on ze svitch, activate the serial port liztening program (HyperTerminal or Mini-com (apparently:http://www.mepis.org/node/8158, never had the need for serial communication under linux) und restart the svitch! Note: Just punched "serial" as a search term in to adept_install and it suggests a program called gtkterm (also called "Serial port terminal")

VaKo
Yeah, hopefully I canĀ make the ethernet ports work as a switch and ignore the 100/fx and ATM bits for the moment. Looks like a serious bit of kit though, anyone got expirence with anything like it?
digip
Maybe join their support forum for the product and ask around for setup help? There is also setup examples on the IBM site. http://www.networking.ibm.com/support/prod...1)?OpenDocument ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/networking/ess...A4/fga1cntl.htm
