SomeoneE1se
I'm looking to migrate to a VPS, and would like some suggestions as far as who you use, who you like, and who you hate. and I need them ASAP
digip
I personally like VMWare for home, but I guess it depends on the native os running the virtual servers and what system you want. (I asusme your talking about virtual private servers? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_private_server) http://www.vpslink.com/

cooper
yes Virtual Private Server is what I'm looking for, it's also needs to be fast. There's a nice blanket statement. What do you plan to run on it?

What do you plan to run on it? Okay let's start over now that I have more then 10 seconds to post a thread/reply... (where I don't sound like an idiot) I'm looking for web hosting but I am a control freak, and like to have control over every little thing. I also don't really want to pay for a dedicated server. ergo I looking for a VPS with good bandwidth as well as one that won't suffer from server overload. I'm looking at https://www.liquidweb.com/cart/content/vps/ but having never used them before I'm not sure if they're a good hosting company. Dargor
I was with vpsland for a while, it never "suffered" under load, the bandwidth was good for a while, then it turned to shit and they wouldnt admit fault or help so moved to dedicated. VaKo
Get an SLA, then read it. Also, a vps is more like an appliance than a actual server.
