Lex
Hi Guys ! Please excuse my english ( it's not my native language ) . I recently saw the video about ARP poisoning and I have some questions : -after a reboot of the attacked computer , will everything return back to normal ? -are both the computers ( the attacked computer and the attacker's computer ) receiving the same traffic ? I'm asking this because I saw that in the video you read that guy's AIM messages . Thanks for your time ! Cheers !
Sparda
-after a reboot of the attacked computer , will everything return back to normal ? Yes. -are both the computers ( the attacked computer and the attacker's computer ) receiving the same traffic ? For all intents and purposes, yes. But, for example, the victims computers doesn't receive requests for web sites that originate from the attackers computer.

natural_orange
All the ARP Posioning is doing is instead of sending the traffic that would normally go directly to the Gateway(Internets) its sending it to your computer first, that way you can sniff all the packets
Lex
This may seem like an stupid question , but will everything come back to normal regardless if the attacked computer has a static or dynamic IP ? Thanks !
Sparda
The effect of the ARP poisoning will eventually time out.
