Well I've been using nero for a while, and I realy dislike it...I mean wtf is Nero Scout, Nero Home (don't tell me I don't want to know)...I hate when something is running in the background and messes with my registry... Nero 7 on the other hand... it's very in your face with "I'm going to help you do this weather you like it or not". Fortunatly having far too much experiance with windows for my own good i removed all the crap that Nero 7 gave me, yet kept nero 7 working. One other strange problem I have with Nero 7 is that it refuses to work at all on my computer unless it tell windows to run it under Windows 2000 emulation... The other had more buttons and knobs than you EVER wanted to see. It was a bit of the extremes at both ends, but you were able to do what you wanted to. Plus, giving people motion sickness from the words moving around the page doesn't make it more user friendly. I use Alcohol 120% more often, because it's nice to use the same program for burning that I use to mount stuff on my hard drive. And speaking of knobs...(here I go again with my almost entirely off-topic yet still related to something already said stuff) there's a shop somewhere in town here called "Knobs and Knockers". Of course they mean door-knobs and those knocker things you see on doors that people use because they're afraid they'll hurt their knuckles if they actually knock. It's easy enough to use but it seems to like to corrupt files on the cd... although that's just on one of my friends computers which tends to screw something up no matter what it's doing so it's probably not my computer corrupting it... his PC is utter shite and tends to bring out any possible glitch in any possible game or program. I only do iso burns and large file data disks. As far as I know there is no music disk creation or anything of that sort. Many of its functions are available in other burning suites as well so that would mean those are illegal as well. And Alcohol 120% costs money... not like that'll stop us though. True, bittorrent it and find a keygen or crack elsewhere. I would pay for it if I had the funds to do so but on a college student budget, beer money has a higher priority level than paying for seldomly-used software. In all actuality, that would mean almost every program on the market. Web browsers, chat clients, media players. Everything is capable of aiding piracy.
