Secret wiretaps by U.S. are OK'd

The U.S. government is free to continue secret eavesdropping of Americans' international phone calls and e-mails to combat terrorism, because of a federal appeals court ruling Friday. The court threw out a Detroit judge's decision that the program was unconstitutional.
