Famicoman Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Analog5 is currently on Hiatus due to lack of interest. If you can any way aid this problem, please leave feedback in this thread. Live to Technolust another day, ~Famicoman
Chris Gerling Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 I can definitely write some stuff for you, it's just a matter of getting the time to do so. I'll see if I can't work on some stuff this or next week and forward it to you.
deleted Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 I can write about alot of things, I just don't know what.
Famicoman Posted June 17, 2007 Author Posted June 17, 2007 http://wiki.hak5.org/wiki/Analog5:Requests Has been the ideal page. Asking around irc also helps ideas.
ringo_shells Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Well, I'd be willing to write something for it. I'm not so good as far as ideas go (I'm a noob, I'll admit it [the annoying thing about it is I'm in the final year of my degree]); however, I am willing to write an article (or many if I do a good job) for Analog5 .....if that would help start up the project again.
Famicoman Posted June 21, 2007 Author Posted June 21, 2007 Any contribution of articles would thus restart the project
metatron Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Well I have some free time on my hands, I’ve just got to finish of a couple of other things for some people and I will write something. How many words are you looking for, I can go a little over the top.
mubix Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Why not instead of having a due date each month collect stories and articles until there is "$(number)", and then publish
Famicoman Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 I think mubix found a solution. I'm thinking at least 10 article submissions before a release. Something to match the premiere issue.
SomeoneE1se Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 get the php jedi to whip a little php to create a img that will display the number a storys left untill a release
ringo_shells Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 I was thinking about writing about Icecast or IRC, seeing as I don't know how to do these things myself, so it would written in a sort of "n00bs journey through IRC" or whatever. Also, eventually i too plan to build an arcade cabinet (yes yes get yo angst out and deal with it), and get my blog on as it goes, so if people feel like reading about that, could throw it up in analog5 as well. Hell I'm just thinking with my fingers here, i'll be quiet now.
