D0m1n7s Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Hello, while testing I have encountered another problem, it is that the wireless client mode is excessively slow. I connect to the internet through wlan2, and I access the web interface of the pineapple through the USB-c cable that also serves to supply power. When a client connects to the open network, I notice it is excessively slow, doing speed tests I get an average of 10% speed compared to the contracted speed of the router that provides me with internet, I have 20 Mbps and the results of the speed tests are less than 1 Mbps, also the latency has increased from 45ms to 300ms, I have done multiple tests on several devices. I also checked the speed I get from the pineapple connected by wlan2 to access the internet and using it as a wifi card through the usb-c port to my pc, there I do get values similar to my speed from the router that provides me with internet, but as I mentioned above, the problem is the wireless connection through the open network. I found another similar topic here: https://forums.hak5.org/topic/61389-wireless-client-mode-unacceptable-slow/ any suggestions? Quote
DramaKing Posted November 14 Posted November 14 We're talking about a really low-performance device. It does sound especially slow, but I don't have mine operating. Probably someone else can see if your numbers are reasonable. Quote
