I have an excel document an in the cell A1 I have idk how many characters, but I'm trying to truncate it down to 15 characters in cell B1.

I have this function =LEFT(A1,15) and it works but I'm trying to get my truncated text to be followed by ... and I cant seem to make that happen.

Dose anybody know how :?:

If I remember correctly the function you are looking for is "CONCATENATE", so you would get something like =CONCATENATE(LEFT(A1,15),"...")

The skills you get from working summers in the it department of companies doing the things the real employees don't want to do...
