DLSS
ok somehow i succesfully installed antivir 7 on a x64 system (wich normally u shudn't b able to cos the installer shud give a error....wich i didnt get) but because its a x64 system it auto shuts down the guard feuture of it. so now i wanna install avast wich is fully x64 compatible ... so i go to uninstall ... i click remove ..... and i get the error i shud've gotton when i installed it , now it wont let me run the setup , thus making it impossible for me to uninstall . i would try just removing the files and editing the registry but i cant find the key's. Sparda
Easy fix: Delete the AntiVir directory in program files, delete the AntiVir registary key, and use spybot to delete the installed list item.

moonlit
Not sure how that particular program works as far as when it loads but you could try booting to safe mode and deleting the files there.
