Jigoronico Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Dear communities, Newbie with this new assets & Co. I have some basic questions where I hope you could enlighten me 🌞 As OMG cables works like a keyboard connection or (maybe part of my mistake) a connected asset my questions are : Does this cable could be used as a keylogger ? When we connect to 192.168.4.1 interface to load the payload, I imagine that has a connection is done, we could in addition to the keylogger (my previous question), see the screen that we "attack" to see and adapt or lauched the "attack" at the adequate moment. I did not find any topics to the explations of the differents screen and confirguration for the 192.168.4.1 interface, any info ? I will have others specific questions links to smartphone payload has I would like to support my company to show the risk of connecting whatever cables but I will do it on another topic. I already tried some github library smartphone script proposed but is-it due to android 13 or others, not a real success. I continue to try & learn 😅 Thanks for support Quote
_MG_ Posted August 21 Posted August 21 This should cover everything, and is linked prominently in the setup process: https://github.com/O-MG/O.MG-Firmware/wiki#features 1 Quote

As for #2 I don't know what you mean by the screen you're attacking. The cable has a web interface for controlling settings and managing payloads. Quote
Jigoronico Posted August 23 Author Posted August 23 Hi DramaKing, I mean a possibily to broadcast like screen sharing but reading in // the wiki provided by _MG_ I understand the limit of the OMG cable but still surprise that the cable could not have a keylogger without a connection to keyboard. Thanks to you 2. Hope could help also when I will improved my skills 😅 Quote
_MG_ Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Why surprised? Do you know something about keyboard electrical signals that would suggest otherwise? Or are you confusing software keyloggers with hardware keyloggers? Quote
