Getting unassociated clients to "log on"

Hi 
I was wondering if it was possible to get unassociated clients (Mobile phones) to try to connect to my Pineapple.
I know I can get til to connect if I set up an evil access point (with a random password), and get the Half handshake taht way.
But it would be nice to get it to respond to alle unassociated clients, even if the evil access point i names something else that the client is asking for.

Hope that someone wil help me out, as I am fairly new to Pineapple.

If the networks/ESSIDs that the target devices are looking for are open networks, then you can spoof the ESSID and hope they will connect. If the networks are protected then you need to know the secret and set up the evil twin using that information.

You can't make a client connect to WiFi without having physical access to it. With an Evil Twin, you're hoping that your ESSID is in the victim's PNL (Preferred Network List). If it isn't, a user would have to connect manually.
