G-Stress Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Probably something simple, but I am tri-booting Vista, XP and Back|Track 2 Final using Lilo. What's weird is Lilo first asks for Back|Track or Vista, then if I select Vista then it'll load the Vista boot loader and prompt me for Vista or "Earlier Version of Windows". What I would like to do is change the name of "Earlier Version of Windows" to Microsoft Windows XP or use lilo boot loader only. Using the bcdedit.exe /? im not seeing anyway of modifying the "earlier version of windows" text :? Quote
G-Stress Posted April 4, 2007 Author Posted April 4, 2007 Ok actually found alot of useful info here, now just not sure if I should delete the XP entry and create a new one? I don't see a way just to modify the existing entry? Whoops forgot to post the link :) http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsVista...3.mspx?mfr=true Quote
