dark_pyrro
Yes, either ssh or use the built-in terminal in the web UI https://docs.hak5.org/wifi-pineapple/ui-overview/introduction#web-terminal
simone79vi
thank for replay.. Everytime that I connect to the ip of the device the "begin setup" started.. so the process of activation failed with the error (UCI failed to set country for radio1 exit status 1) Ps. dark_pyrro
There are limits for new users due to the fact that there has been "abuse" over time. Not sure what the limits are, but I think it has been 5 messages before. I.e. that you have to post 5 messages and after that, it will be possible to post with less restrictions. 32 minutes ago, simone79vi said: Everytime that I connect to the ip of the device the "begin setup" started.. so the process of activation failed with the error (UCI failed to set country for radio1 exit status 1) That is only happening when you try to load the web UI, right? What happens if you try to ssh into the Pineapple? Try the diagnostics as well, if possible to reach http://172.16.42.1:1471/api/basic-diagnostics.html
simone79vi
thanks for reply.. this is the info of http://172.16.42.1:1471/api/basic-diagnostics.html about the ssh.. what is the password? dark_pyrro
OK, looks like the internal USB hub is fried on that Pineapple. If both MT7601 radios are gone and not showing up as USB devices (or phyX devices), it's most often a sure sign that the USB hub is borked. Regarding ssh, it should be the password you set, but if setup isn't successful (due to the problems you experience), it's probably not saved in the process. dark_pyrro
Yes, I would suggest creating a support ticket on that. You can refer to this thread to provide some background information in the ticket. It might be useful. https://hak5.customerdesk.io/
