w1r3d.au
Hi Guys and Gals, I am having issues setting the correct time with my Wifi Pineapple Mark VII version 2.1.3 . First issue which I cannot solve is that there is no timezone for where I am +9.5 Darwin is my actual timezone. When I select timezone +9 or +10 (it does not matter) and I update timezone and sync browser time for smoe reason my time is still not acurate. I am stuck in 2021 and cant change it no matter what I try. once again all help is greatly appreciated

dark_pyrro
You can try setting the timezone using CLI Note that setting the Darwin based timezone won't show in the Pineapple web UI. You have to submit a support ticket and suggest getting it added. Log stamps in the web UI system log should be correct, but recon scans seems to fetch the date/time elsewhere. nano /etc/config/system Change/add the following lines to the config 'system' section option 'timezone' 'ACST-9:30' option 'zonename' 'Australia/Darwin' Save and exit Reboot the Pineapple If executing the date command, it should show the date and time based on the previously configured timezone The timezone should also end up in /etc/TZ
