Can I remove my Ducky if I have it set to wait for mouse movemment, or do I have to keep it in?

Recommended Posts

I have a .txt for a jump scare, but I want to make it wait for mouse movement so I doesn't just immediately play. I currently can't test my code as I don't have my ducky rn, and I'm new to writing duckyscripts. Can I run it and then remove the usb, or do I have to leave it in?

It depends on how you set up the payload. If you start something on the target that is supposed to take care of whatever you want to happen on the target, then you could remove the Ducky. Mouse movement isn't a native feature of the Ducky itself so such things needs to be handed over to the target to monitor in that case.
