fro3t1010
Hi I hope someone would be able to give me some advice. I have a wifi pineapple and want to try an experiment, capturing encrypted traffic and viewing it. I have the certificates for the data. Now my question is, is there a way to add the certificates to the wifi pineapple so it can be decrypted? Hope that makes sense. Thanks
DramaKing
Nope, there is not. If all it took was using the public certificates to decrypt traffic, no one would use it. TLS uses asynmetric public/private key pairs to generate symmetric session keys using the Diffie-Hellman key exchange method. If you were to use mitmproxy, that tool uses its own certificates or uses HTTP between itself and the end device.
