PoyBoy
So, there are these 4 pretty new computers running XP (maybe pro) at my small town public library. I noticed that the only thing that you can installl and have it still be there after a reboot is the AOL/AIM crap. How do I install things and make them Stay? What is causing this? Thanks
degoba
Um are you an admin or something at your library? Do you even have the rights to access these computers from an administrative level.

Guest
The harddisc is mirrord. (Say you this? No plan.) Ahh, you say Mirrorset (RAID 1), I think. That means: if you reboot the computer everything turns into the old.

PoyBoy
Just setting up a limited account would make things stay?
Sparda
If you install them for "all users" (as windows puts it) then yes.
