PineUser101 Posted January 30, 2023 Share Posted January 30, 2023 Couldn't find a dedicated 'suggestions box' for the pineapple so started this one: The captured SSID pool would benefit from identifying where each SSID came from; ie a wifi server or a device calling out to see if the device out there. Also it would be useful to have a log file that shows the MAC addresses of the devices that the pineapple listened to when extracting the SSID name. There would of course be multiple MACs per SSID over time. With this log the Pentester could identify which device/person has been transmitting the SSID requests.
