PwnCatz Posted January 28 Share Posted January 28 im plugging the shark cable into my computers ethernet port and using the NETMODE DHCP_CLIENT command then attempting to ssh into my shark via the terminal in linux but it keeps saying “ ssh:connect to host 172.16.24.1 port 22: Connection Timed Out” im running kali linux on live usb on a laptop with my shark connected to my laptops ethernet port if that means anything Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dark_pyrro Posted January 28 Share Posted January 28 You asked the same question on Discord and it's the same scenario. 1) Does the Kali Linux PC have a DHCP daemon running? 2) How would the Shark get an IP address from the PC as a DHCP client if the PC isn't acting as a DHCP daemon/server? 3) You can't use the Shark DHCP server IP range if you set the Shark in DHCP client mode.
