Skeeve
Hey all, 6Ghz is starting to apprear (I'm using it at home). I want to buy a Mark VII, but will it (I assume via a module) support 6Ghz? or will that be Mark VIII ? ...Skeeve
dark_pyrro
If there will be any hardware available on the market that does the job needed and gets support in OpenWrt, then why not. Probably not via a module (if you mean "Pineapple module"), but instead with support built into the firmware. I have no idea if there are any plans already. Haven't seen it being discussed anywhere. In the case it will be realized, it will for sure be a USB adapter like the 5 GHz support that is already available.
DramaKing
I think we're quite unlikely to see 6 GHz in the current generation, even if you could get a 6 GHz-capable wifi adapter and install the appropriate kernel module.
SKiZZ
In before someone asks about MediaTek's WiFi 7.
