smurfexe
hi, so a friend of mine gave me a challenge to hack into 2 windows server 1 is server 2008 which i already got into and the other one is server 2012 R1 the server is a clean install running in a VM. when i try to scan with nmap it says all ports are filtered/no-response i tried almost all scan options now. but with no luck. does anyone have an idea on how i can continue? ps: this is just for fun and learning purposes + he will buy me lunch if i get in. digininja
If there are no services listening then there is very little chance of you getting in. I don't remember there being any network stack based vulnerabilities in Server 2012, that would be your only attack vector.
