Federico Gaehring Posted September 2, 2022 Share Posted September 2, 2022 Trying to reset my new wifi pineapple after i uploaded the firmware when i tried to get back into it the next day have no idea what i did but could not get back in.So I tried to rest back to factory,which i followed the instructions in the reset video.I set the static ip in linux ubuntu 20.4 and it shows eth0 as eno1 so i edited grub so will show eno1 as eth0 tried it both ways and cannot log into it to reset .tried on another system using kali on a vm no luck.I set the static ip to 172.16.42.42 check it with if config its there try to log in at http://172.16.42.1:80 and its is unreachable .. i need help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dark_pyrro Posted September 2, 2022 Share Posted September 2, 2022 Why would you edit grub to change the interface name of a network device? Try not to involve VMs, use bare metal instead.
