Best PE / Executable Packers to protect against reverse-engineering?

Hi! Hope you guys can help me. I'm looking to identify what some of the most common US-based products are for packing executables. The goal isn't to avoid signature detection or any goal of subversion, but instead to add just another layer of protection against reverse-engineering. I'm failing at the Googles right now, because everything I search for brings me back to logistics stuff and related to packing and shipping (import / export). Any recommendations? I've been out of this "scene" for a while.
