dark_pyrro
Is it a brand new Pineapple or is the setup initiated because of a factory reset/firmware recovery?

I did a factory reset and now it won't let me reset. It had normal operation but it stopped working correctly, can you help me please.
dark_pyrro
OK, so it has been working before then and isn't brand new out of the box (my analysis from your answer). Explain in detail what steps you are taking when you try to reset it and it's not working. Do you get the static/solid red LED? What firmware file are you uploading to the Pineapple during the reset procedure? And, use a normal sized font when posting.
Juan Pablo
Juan Pablo
When I reset it, I did it with firmware 2020-09-09 1.0.0-stable fd37d994fb356afbbcd3950b591d2cc0015a97dd293ce2085675e2a1d8003184 downloaded from the official page. I have followed step by step to restore it, the red led has indicated me and I have put the firmware, when I start the pineapple again I cannot connect to any wireless network and update the firmware, because it gives me an error and does not let me pass of the startup module. dark_pyrro
This is most likely because of the fact that you are not doing the recovery as the documentation says you should. Quoting the documentation; "Do not attempt to flash a normal WiFi Pineapple firmware now - it won't work!". You should use the recovery firmware file (2020-09-09 recovery 4fe62bfde18896cd54377e2f2698048414014aa10816b0bc6bc12db8cf43e2fc) available at the bottom of the same downloads page from where you downloaded the 1.0.0-stable firmware file. https://downloads.hak5.org/pineapple/mk7 https://docs.hak5.org/wifi-pineapple/faq/factory-reset-and-recovery
