Ok, so I'm going to say I have enjoyed your products for a long time but I'm not impressed with the new model. I hope it gets better.

The lag when doing anything other than supplying internet as a relay and scanning networks (those features work great, I can pull networks and associates to get info on them). But let's say I want to start a campaign, everything lags so much I can't even control the thing. The only option is to reboot which is a pain trying to get that button to recognize. Lag isn't isolated in campaign. I set it to only be a relay but notification when someone logs on and off. Totally out of order because of lag.

Modules!! Please!! Devs!! I'll come live with you and learn coding better to help you add the old ones to the new model. For real, hmu.

If there's something I'm missing or something I could check for to troubleshoot the issue that would be great info to have.

Yes, it has about the weakest SoC CPU that you can buy. In quantity of > 1,000 this part is as low as $5USD. Raspberry Pi 4 has onboard dual-band radio, 4GB RAM, 2 USB 3.0, and 2 USB 2.0. Raspberry PI 4 will also run Kali or Diet-Pi. You should learn to be a better coder so that you can build your own.

I have a pi4 also. 😎 Doing all I can to learn. Are the older versions of pineapple any better?

My understanding is that they 'work' better. As to them being serious tool for wifi pentesting, they are not. And the MKVII is absolutely useless as a legit wireless pentesting tool in our company. We wasted $200 on 2 of the things and they don't even come close to the tools that we've been using. I'll be honest: I got suckered in by that pitchman, Mr. Kitchen. He can talk a good game and produce a helluva good demo-ware video, but this thing is krap with a capital krap! They are both sitting on the shelf. We can find no good use for them. Oh well...

Can you elaborate on which part lags exactly? The UI is completely rendered in the browser, so I'm curious if the issue is in the browser or not. Are pages taking long to load, or is data just taking a while to be populated?

Thanks

It's not a browser issue because other pages load. When I switch to the pineapple tab it goes back to lag. Like if I want to go from campaign tab to recon tab it takes 10 minutes if it does it at all. In the instance of the notification, I couldn't even clear out the notifications because of the lag.

I'll play around with it today and see. It's been a while since I actually tried it out because It's the only thing supplying internet to the house and I didn't want to reset it. I'll have your answer with pics in a couple hours.
