user8239852
Hi, I got my new WiFi Pineapple, and I'm trying to verify my device. When holding the button to verify my device my WiFi Pineapple the Wireless Access Point turns off. This Is preventing me from completing the setup process. Can someone please help me with my Issue. Jtyle6
There's is two other ways to do setup. One is plug into computer and from there. Second is copying the configuration file and firmware update to an usb drive. https://docs.hak5.org/hc/en-us/articles/360053346334-Setup-Basics
Aaron Outhier
Perhaps it is different on the Mark VII, but on my Nano, holding down the button does a factory reset. During setup, I need to quickly press and release the button, not hold it down. If I were to hold the button during setup, I would have the same problem you are describing.

Yeah on the MK7 on setup you can either hold for press to use wired mode or setup using a WAP by holding it for 4 seconds.
