penoze Posted February 14, 2007 Share Posted February 14, 2007 When I try to run the Universal U3 customizer on Vista I get: U3 Customizer can only customize one device at a time. Please eject all drives except the one you want to customize. In explorer I have the usual "CD Drive" U3 System and the memory stick nothing extra. Then, you will come upon several suggestions for why it doesn't work, and one or two people saying 'success!'. If those people posted what they used to make it work, then I suggest trying that. I just edited like it said... the newer version should be able to work on vista... but then i get an error saying Your U3 drive is already up to date. Updater will now shut down. ... stupid firmware checking... fire up olly, anyone? The link posted few posts above was dead, so I searched for the filename and finially found a link on a chinese website. I tried it and it actually works! Not only does it work pefectly on win7, but it also doesn't have that bug that makes 8 GB sticks just 4 GB large!
