Goldy
Hi, I want to packet sniff my own wireless network (so i have full access obviously) but I want to sniff the emails i send from my wii to find out how to transfer "Mii" via regular email (PC-PC, PC-Wii) . I figure there is two ways nintendo could be filtering the emails, firstly because its not being sent to or from an @wii.com email address, or there may just be some info in the header or such of the email. any way, I'm complete noob and never packet sniffed. I have wireshark, will be putting a wireless card in my computer this afternoon, but is that all I will need? will i be able to authenticate myself through wireshark, to get around any WEP encryption? Reedy Boy
Try http://www.hak5.org/wiki/Episode_1x03 You want to look at 'ARP Cache Poisoning Attack Overview' You can then filter all packets between your router through your PC and sniff them
