Thanks for PJ! (. . and the timely recent fixes)

I'm curious if there is a way to set up the java status terminal to minimize to the system tray.

Thanks again!

Would be a nice thing for an upgrade, yes.

But there's supposed to be a program that minimizes everything you want, so search that :P.

Thanks for the pointer.

Including it as a future feature would be awesome as installing extra programs is not so awesome.

In the mean time, I found "TrayIt."

Was easy to set up and seems to work,

but don't know much else about it.

TaskSwitchXP works well for minimizing to tray as well.

I usually only use it for this feature, though that's not it's main function is supposed to be, but it has many other features as well. A lot of older minimize to tray apps don't handle long window titles properly, and when you try to minimize to tray, they hide the window but crash and burn when they try to make the tray icon leaving you no access to the window unless you use Win Explorer or something to change the visible property back. :P

That's not exactly what he asked.

We'll that will minimize the firefox to the tray, as for the dos console going to to the tray

why not just get a program to convert batch files to executable..
