Hi @curis9929,

On the WiFi Pineapple MKVII to begin firmware recovery you must first first unplug the WiFiPineapple MKVII from all power, hold down the button, plug it back in, and wait for "3 RED FLASHES", and then let go of the button. This will put it into firmware recovery mode. Where you can assign it the IP of 172.16.42.42 and gateway of 255.255.255.0 then visit http://172.16.42.1 and select the "Recovery" tab to upload the RECOVERY file. This will reflash the firmware.

The WiFi Pineapple features a firmware recovery web interface which allows you to restore the device to factory state. This recovery interface is only accessible via the USB Ethernet interface and cannot be accessed via WiFi.

This is for the WiFi Pineapple TETRA, a discontinued product. Any documentation for the TETRA isn't pertinent to the Mk7

MK7

Can access WiFi but can't log in.  "Invalid Credentials" for root (my pw and "pineapplesareyummy")
Powering off, holding down the button and powering on leads to red blinking light (let go) solid red forever.
USB stick has firmware and config file, formatted EXT4.   Boot normal, blue  blinking, blue solid, USB drive lights up for a second .. no firmware upgrade.  Only config.txt and firmware file.

So.  What's the trick here, why does it boot and I can't log in.  Then I cant reset?  It's not a brick but acts like a brick.

You didn't need to do an Factory reset for password reset.

On firmware versions 1.1.0 and later, you may reset a lost password by holding the Reset button for 7 seconds or longer. Upon success, the LED will flash a rainbow colour sequence and reboot. After the device reboots, you will be able to login with the password hak5pineapple. You are strongly advised to change this after logging in.

And next time don't necropost an 11 month old Post.

Thank you Jtyle6 -  The note is that if anyone does the soft reboot the password will get reset as noted in the post.

 I don't know. I don't own one.

I managed to run the Factory Reset and Recovery, now when it restarts automatically, it does not recognize the access point to download the firmware.

it is displayed as disabled and does not scan any WIFI networks.

How can I solve it, I have made several attempts to solve it.

Entonces, este es el mismo problema sobre el que publicaste en mayo. ¿Lo hiciste funcionar cuando tuviste el mismo problema esa vez?

I have not been able to solve it, I have carried out several methods that I found but none of them have a result.

finally I get this error log and I think it depends on the USB driver FE1.1S, do you know something about it

It's not the driver, it's the USB hub chip. But I guess you have already figured that out (by reading your other recent post).

Since the 7601 based 2.4 GHz radios are connected to the internal USB hub, they will be missing if there's something wrong with the onboard USB chip.

Glytch made a video recently about replacing the onboard USB hub chip:
