killer63
I have a monitor the has a native res of 1280*720. I wanted to know if there is a way to force my iBook to output 1280*720 through the vga connector.
Sparda
I have little experience with Macs, but shouldn't the Mac be able to detect the supported resolutions of any given attached monitor (like x can on the Linux/BSD)?
Ecky
[blue Apple] > System Preferences > Displays > Resolution (or similar) If the monitor doesn't support the higher res then im not sure if you can do anything about it. If your using it with a dual monitor check out all the settings in the Prefs...theres some good ones. Like the positioning function of the screen...simple but cool :P
