Slavi Posted March 18, 2020 Share Posted March 18, 2020 I have a problem on a similar topic, right out of the box on my first wifi pineapple nano plug in it asked me to input a root password didn't go fro the usual set up just straight in for the password, now i tried the "default password" - change_on_install , but as one would expect it didn't work , I tried a factory reset by holding a reset button for 7 seconds didn't help, any ideas guys I would be most grateful as of now I just have a $100 paperweight. Now as to information you might ask me for, I am running an Ubuntu or Kali not that it makes a difference in between the two using the y usb cable on a usb gen 2 ports I mean there is relay vary little variables which is why its so frustrating. Also make sure that your button is actually clicking...its a longshot but the real internal switch maybe it doesnt quite line up with the button cutout on the case. Also, Sometimes my fat stubby fingers are squeezing the case but not actually depressing the button tab. Otherwise contact support. Well I know what he asked for buddy, but I ordered my nano using my work email from a previous employment, don't work there any more, ergo don't have that email anymore, ego don't have the order number anymore, don't see why that would have anything to do with getting advice, any way seems kernels on ubuntu 18.4, ubuntu 19.2, kali 2019.1a and kali 2020.1b where all flagging the nano and disconnecting it, finally used Windows 10 and been able to flash it with new wp6.sh 2.7.x, but still cant connect to internet with all 5 operating systems so if anyone has any ideas I would be much obliged. Nono I might have not explained my self correctly in Windows 10 I followed the flashing procedure, disconnected the nano, held down the restart button, connected it and then continued holding it for 10sec then update it to the latest firmware 2.7.0 then went back in to Kali and used the wp6.sh.
