DeformedRock
I currently have a hard drive that has windows server 2016 on it and am trying to get the password off the main admin account. I've tried a few things already like getting the 'ease of access' to be cmd, Chntpw on Kali, and gave PCunlocker a shot to see if it worked; And none of them work, does any one have any other methods? Cap_Sig
Are you trying to recover data? Unless the drive in encrypted you could recover data off the drive without the admin password.
DeformedRock
I know that, im just trying to get into the accounts that are on there. The drive isnt encrypted with anything.
Bob123
You could use Kon Boot and just give the account a new password. Probably not the answer your looking for but it's an option if you just need to take control of the account.
Cap_Sig
You will need to get the NTLM hash then run it through something like John the Ripper or hashcat.
