Thanks I would like to know this also, for examplle what does it mean by correct formatting of the SD card. I have never had a need to format an SD card myself... nando Posted January 27, 2020 Share Posted January 27, 2020 if you format the sdcard thru the gui, it will create two partitions, sda1 and sda2. this is ext4 and swap the fdisk configuration is also displayed in the gui, and also lets you save to disk. you may have to log in thru cli after making changes, and run "sync" a few times, before reboot, to make sure changes take. worked for me anyways. How do I know it has been detected correctly by the Nano device? On the Gui, the option on the "Advanced" -> "Format SD Card" is always present, even if the micro sd is not on the Nano.
