jotalanusse Posted November 7, 2019 Share Posted November 7, 2019 Hi, im currently running the 2.6.2 release on the Pineapple Nano, and im trying to configure the RT5370 (MT7601U) wireless adapter (the one recommended for the Nano at the Hak5 website) with no luck. The adapter get recognized by the Nano but the wlan2 interface does not appear. I tried updating the dirvers via opkg, but thay are all up to date. dark_pyrro Posted November 8, 2021 Share Posted November 8, 2021 You have to decide what adapter you are using. You mention the RT5370 and the MT7601U as it was the same thing which it isn't. It's obvious from the lsusb output that you have a 7601 based adapter, not an RT5370. What drivers did you try to install using opkg? The ones for RT5370 or for MT7601U? I'm not surprised if the 7601 isn't working because that is the fact for me as well. When I bought it it was advertised as a RT5370, so I thought it was the same, my bad. So the solution to this problem would be simply buying a real RT5370 I guess.
