The situation is physical access with access to network. They should not really let me in at all but I do have access right now. They are nitified that I will try to get access and that I will try to get hold of information from network. 

So maybe PS is the way to go since we will test IT if they notice equipment that should not be there.

Id say Packet Squirrel or Lan Turtle would be a good option if you want to have remote access.  The advantage to Packet Squirrel is with a flash drive it will save data on it own if you don't plan to do this by remote access to the network.

That's why love mine. Only problem is you need to find a way to retrieve it and your data.
