Parrot Linux Boot Error

I had the same problem, I powered off the computer. Then it booted into parrot, after that I ran 'sudo apt-get update', and 'sudo apt-get upgrade'. That should fix the problem.

Just curious. How did you get into parrot? If I really cannot get in I may have to reinstall OS.

I just held down the power button and it when the PC rebooted, it was in parrot OS.             

I also found this link. Although this is for linux mint, it seems like it will fix the problem. https://prognotes.net/2018/04/linux-mint-initramfs-prompt-at-boot/
