Th4ntis
So i'm kind returning to the windows world for a little bit and I have a fresh install of windows 10, i'm looking to get rid of off the bloatware and cortana and etc. I read about 2 different ways but not sure if they are trustworthy. 1. Windows10 Decrapifier 2. Windows10 TronScript. Can anyone vouch for these or suggest some others?
aethernaut
@Th4ntis I use a couple of free utilities from O&O ShutUp10 lets you switch off lots of MS spying as well as deactivate some elements of Windows you may not want. https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10 AppBuster lets you deactivate / uninstall a lot of the bloat that MS forces into a clean install. https://www.oo-software.com/en/ooappbuster Neither of these require installation. I have not had any problems with these utilities. I am sure you are not a "select all", "press go" sort of person but, for those out there who are, please think about whether you should remove or deactivate something before you actually do it! elitefrogman
Those are good tools, so are Anti-Beacon and Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4. I just disable everything with GPO, and powershell myself. I thought this might also be of some use to you: https://github.com/Sycnex/Windows10Debloater

No I like to know what I am and am not disabling. I like to have control over my system. Both of these were what I was looking for. Thank you. Haven't tried the recommended tools but this method does work and is documented around the web.
