SSID Manually Add

Why does Wi-Fi pineapple give me this error message when I try to manually add an SSID?

SSID must be between 1 and 32 characters

I only see that if i try and add a SSID with more than 32 chars. under that its all good. The 32 char limit is from the 802.11 standards IIRC.

EDIT - yup - although in some cases possible to have longer would be out of spec.
