INFOTRACE
Hi guys, since the launch of Pwnie Express many moons ago, and then the introduction of Kali Nethunter, is it really worth the trouble to go through the entire setup process of Pwnie or should we just use Nethunter? Your views are greatly appreciated👍 Cheers 😎 PS. Just to clarify: Pwnie Express provides full threat detection of every wireless and wired device in and around your workplace. We are the only company that detects rogue, misconfigured, and unauthorized devices across wired and wireless spectrums. and; Kali NetHunter is an Android ROM overlay that includes a mobile penetration testing platform. ... The overlay includes a custom kernel, a Kali Linux chroot, and an accompanying Android application, which allows for easier interaction with various security tools and attacks. Really just depends on what you intended use is. They both have there advantages depending on application (like you post describes).

hackster
Guys why not try this? https://andrax.thecrackertechnology.com/ But one thing,i never understood why having 200+ pentest tools (and many are useless) when a lot of us use only maximum 15 tools,i prefer a "classic" linux distribution and to install only tools i need, just my 2 cents... Regarding Mobile OS i'm in love with my UBports. Cheers!

To be fair, the platform was designed with Android in mind, so your Nexus/Google etc., will thank you for it........but, NetHunter still does the trick IMO. Having used both, examined the literature from both, I would disagree that Andrax is better than Kali (PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT SUGGESTING THAT YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE), but, it depends on your preference. However, let me know if you decide to buy the training for Andrax, just so I can canvass your views. Take care buddy and have a great day😎

Take care buddy and have a great day😎 Absolutely no offence bro 🙂 Let me give you an example, and i think many people are in this case... You are outside and you want to test any device,structure,etc... In many cases as you know it must be done in a very short time..then it could be Andrax,Nethunter,or any pentest mobile OS based on android, what are the common point of all these pentest tools, you need to burn through a terminal right? Not a problem at all,i'm a die hard linux lover 😄 ... but honestly typing many commands on laptop no problem, but on a smartphone, with a small screen it's enervant very quickly!! I'm not going to buy Andrax course, never. I was on Nethunter for 3 years and my opinion is still the same: timewasting to type commands on small screen in a short time! A solution? Maybe... That's why i talk about UBports above,an ubuntu version for mobile... but at this time you can say me:"Wait! you are still typing commands through your terminal or not??!" Hmmm i can say both. Both what? Since you can convert many tools for UBports with Qt library,i'm going to convert many tools with a nice GUI ready to use for smartphone. For example wifi pineapple is a GUI conversion of many open source tools right? It's faster to work with GUI especially when you need to make a job in a short time.. Plus working with an android phone with a pentest OS is criminally insecure bro, many security holes,if i remember ssh port is open by default on Nethunter, and many other troubles since your phone must be rooted... At this time i'm not working with any mobile pentest OS,i'm going to UBports journey 🙂 Nice to talk with you bro,if you want to share any experience i'm open to your point of view 😉

So, what I did (as I have sausage fingers) I purchased a bluetooth keyboard from Rii and hey presto no need to touch the screen on the Nexus, which saves the whole screen and keeps it open and fully deployable. Really enjoy finding a solution to a problem, and naturally learning new concepts. So, rest assured I will try your way and see how I go. Keep in touch buddy and I in turn will let you know how things progress. Best hunting 😎
