kevintorvalds
This may sound like a stupid question but.... does anyone know how I can defend my USB stick from antivirus software, without having to use encryption? Every time I put it in a new computer (I work in a repair business, and use my drive as storage for many tools I use for repairs), I usually get files quarantined or whatever if I don't catch the antivirus beforehand, then I have to disable it and undo any quarantines. Can anyone help?

Guest Twilight Zone
Try with Remora Usb Guard,KeePass,Folder Lock...Make Google research for usb standalone or no-install aplications, you will find many sites with free programs, included free crypt tools for your needs. Sparda
or you could just switch it to ROM, which requires no effort spare flicking a switch.
