Cosmo
That is what I got when I followed the link and signed up. Not only that, but if you read the comments, people point out that it's not on apple's site that they changed the name. I went to apple.com and couldn't find anything about it. VaKo
Again we see the hypocrisy behind Apple, they trademark "pod" and sue people who use the name even for wildly different products. Then someone else owns a name they want to use, and suddenly trademark issues and product names are "silly". Why do geeks love Apple? There expensive, closed platforms from a company that seems to be powered by 1 man with ego problems. Yet the same people who hate Microsoft for all of the above reasons love them, even as there entire company seems to be turning into Sony 2.0. metatron
The iPhone is not a radical change in phone technology as there have been similar products in Asia for years and all of the features that it offers have been available on other phones for some time, the only thing Apple have done was bring them together on one device, give it a nice GUI and claim they developed everything themselves. There will be no third party apps for the iPhone so I don’t want it.

VaKo
TBH I will not buy another phone that doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard and some form of SSH. Its a lifesaver, plus you can use lynx as a cheap stripping proxy.

metatron
Someone sent me a Neo 1973 developer kit which I’ve written a few interesting apps for. The consumer version should be out in a few months, but I would wait for the version that will comes with WiFi as it will be a great little device.
