Issues with Evil portal on Tetra

Recommended Posts

I have a Tetra with the Evil portal module. When a client connects for the first time it correctly prompts to sign in where it captures the credentials.

When I kick of the client and the client reconnects back it never presents the signin page and directly connects the client to the Internet.

Is there as way to make the client re authenticate everytime it connects to the SSID ?

I thought you could manually control the whitelist

The whitelist and the authorized clients list is so unreliable.

I see the authorized clients list empty even when clients are connected through the captive portal.

Which file on the device itself contains the list of the authorized and whitelisted clients ?

You are not passing the helper file in through php. PHP is the part that actually adds anything to any list. Then you need to set cache expiration expectations. Stuff like that.

I am using the default portals from the repo, do I need to set it for it also ?

Not a PHP or HTML coder, but can work my way up!

Any articles, pointer may be.
