HansDV
Hi All, I can't connect through SSH to my PineApple Tetra. I just did a Firmware upgrade but now I can't connect anymore. The Webinterface works fine. I am connected through the y-cable. Can anyone help me please? Kind regards, Hans.

I have had ssh key changes and warnings because of it. I have also plugged the micro usb into UART by mistake and not USB ETH. But I have not been able to use USB ETH to the browser UI and not have access to the SSH... strange. If all else fails, try a firmware recovery https://docs.hak5.org/hc/en-us/articles/360010471774-Firmware-Recovery
HansDV
I get a connection refused. I can't telnet on port 22 on 172.16.42.1 I also enabled SSH in the configuration tab. Does anyone have other suggestions? Kind regards, Hans

Could it be your client (what client is it?) has noticed a ssh key change so is "Protecting" you? If so maybe you can delete the old ssh key and make it happy again. 15 minutes ago, HansDV said: I can't telnet on port 22 on 172.16.42.1 That's normal, the pineapple does not use telnet on any port by default. 16 minutes ago, HansDV said: I also enabled SSH in the configuration tab. Which configuration page is that?

HansDV
Hi all, Just to let you know guys: I managed to fix the issue. Solution: - Rest the Pineapple Tetra with the reset button - reconfigure the Pineapple Tetra with Wifi option That fixed my problem. I suspect that something went wrong during the initial setup. Thx for your answers guys! Kind regards, Hans.
Kastro
Hey, I'm currently having the same problem with my Tetra. Would you be able to explain how you reconfigured the pineapple with WiFi option?
Cap_Sig
Try doing a factory reset: https://docs.hak5.org/hc/en-us/articles/360010555853-Factory-Reset Then do the initial config for the pineapple. Follow this guide to connect via SSH: https://docs.hak5.org/hc/en-us/articles/360010471514-Secure-Shell I would try connecting with a connection to the pineapple using ETH port. If that doesn't work for some reason post back and can try a few other things.
Kastro
I have tried doing a factory reset and followed the guide to connect via SSH. When trying to connect to ssh I get an error message saying "ssh: connect to host 172.16.42.1 port 22: Connection refused". Any ides why it's not letting me connect? Irukandji
You don't need to put in port 22 into the ssh. Edited November 17, 2019 by Jtyle6
