Can anyone help me please?

I haven't heard of that one before. I have had ssh key changes and warnings because of it. I have also plugged the micro usb into UART by mistake and not USB ETH.

But I have not been able to use USB ETH to the browser UI and not have access to the SSH... strange.

If all else fails, try a firmware recovery https://docs.hak5.org/hc/en-us/articles/360010471774-Firmware-Recovery

I get a connection refused.

ssh? Could it be your client (what client is it?) has noticed a ssh key change so is "Protecting" you? If so maybe you can delete the old ssh key and make it happy again.

I can't telnet on port 22 on 172.16.42.1

That's normal, the pineapple does not use telnet on any port by default.

I also enabled SSH in the configuration tab.

Which configuration page is that?

Hi all,

Just to let you know guys: I managed to fix the issue.

Solution:

- Rest the Pineapple Tetra with the reset button

- reconfigure the Pineapple Tetra with Wifi option

That fixed my problem. I suspect that something went wrong during the initial setup.

Thx for your answers guys!

Kind regards,

Hans.

Try doing a factory reset: https://docs.hak5.org/hc/en-us/articles/360010555853-Factory-Reset

Then do the initial config for the pineapple.

Follow this guide to connect via SSH: https://docs.hak5.org/hc/en-us/articles/360010471514-Secure-Shell

I would try connecting with a connection to the pineapple using ETH port.  If that doesn't work for some reason post back and can try a few other things.
