salsero96
Hi, Is anyone able to assist with the following error that I am getting when I attempt to run c2_community-linux-64 on a Ubuntu hosted VPS? I download the file using wget, and then chmod +x. then ./2_community-linux-64 syntax error near unexpected token newline' <!doctype> Thanks
Foxtrot
I don't know what URL you used, but you didn't download the ELF binary for your machine. It looks like you're trying to execute a HTML document instead.
salsero96
Foxtrot, I have downloaded and executed the c2_community-linux-64 file. Is that not the right file? Thanks
salsero96
When I wget https://c2.hak5.org/download/community/c2-1.1.1_community.zip , it appears as though it is redirecting me, and instead downloading an html page from shop.hak5.org. Im not sure what Im doing wrong.
Foxtrot
That isn't a valid URL, the download link for the C2 Community is https://c2.hak5.org/download/community. Was that link you were trying to wget listed on one of our pages?
salsero96
Foxtrot, That worked. I apologize for the misunderstanding. No. I was attempting to download the direct link to the file, but obviously, screwed that one up. Thanks for your help.
