Bob123 Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 Ok so maybe I'm searching it wrong but is there a somewhat simple way to reverse an inject.bin file? I have a duck, I have a ton of scripts, and sadly I have several inject.bin files running around and I have no idea what does what. Simple solution, just have them attack a VM. But I'd be curious how easy it would be to throw one in some type of hex or oct dump and see what I can see. So far it's not working out too well for me because all I'm seeing from a hex dump are random numbers. If anyone has done this or if you could point me in the right direct that would be great.
aethernaut Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 @Bob123 The ducktoolkit has this as an option (ducktools.py -d) if you want to do it on your system. I haven't used it in ages but I remember that the decoding often comes back a bit mangled but you should be able to get an idea what it does. Otherwise you could also try the online version https://ducktoolkit.com/decoder/
Bob123 Posted December 1, 2018 Author Posted December 1, 2018 Thanks aethernaut. I completely forgot about that website. The decoder works great and I can now see what all the random inject.bin files are that I have. Thanks.
Bob123 Posted August 25, 2019 Author Posted August 25, 2019 Wow sorry to wake this thread back up but is the decoder on ducktoolkit.com broke? I'm getting a server post error. Any help would be great. Thanks.
