Unable to connect to internet with Mark V

Hi All,

I'm a new user and i just recently got a Mark V pineapple.

I've done minimal changes to the pineapple and setup the internet sharing as per the instructions stated here: https://wiki.wifipineapple.com/legacy/#!ics.md

On 172.16.42.1:1471, however, i was not able to get an internet IP address via the pineapple "network" tile. It times out and says Error Connecting. The same goes for the tile for checking firmware upgrades.

My internet facing wifi adapter has been set to "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" and has been shared with "Ethernet" connection (Windows 10)

My pineapple facing ethernet adapter "Ethernet" TCP/IPv4 setting has been set up with IP address: 172.16.42.42/255.255.255.0, default gateway (empty), DNS: 8.8.8.8.

I'm not sure what else i need to do to let my pineaple Mark V access the internet.
