Defective TETRA, ghosted by Hak5 support

Hi all, I wonder if someone here can help me out. I am the proud owner of a defective TETRA unit, I reached out to Hak5 for support and they ghosted me after exchanging one message saying someone would would get back to me - that was 14 days ago.

The TETRA will work for about 25 minutes after being flashed with the factory firmware image through the recovery interface and then it will start rebooting itself continuously. I am using the provided AC adapter and I didn't install any modules.

Any suggestions?

Hi there, we just spoke briefly on IRC (Guest10).

The symptom kinda sounds like power. It may well not be, but to rule it out its best try another stable 12V2A power source to see if the issue follows the tetra or follows the power supply. if the issue follows the tetra then i would try to follow the logread or dmesg outputs to see if there are any clues. once you have all the detail you can possibly get then contact Hak5 support again. @Foxtrot maybe.

I'm sure they wont ghost you, they were most likely doing the trade show thing at Defcon in Vegas and maybe have backlog.

Let me know if I can help you any more. I hope you get it sorted soon.
