What more can I say? My user name says it all: I Luv EDM (Electronic Dance Music). :)

My favourite EDM (sub)genres are:

House, Progressive House, Dark Prog, Dark Tribal, Tech House, Tech Trance, Psy Trance, Acid Techno, Tribal Techno.

I love going raving/clubbing till late in the mornings listening to DJs like Sasha, John Digweed, STEVE LAWLER, Bad Boy Bill, Armand Van Helden, DJ Vibe, Satoshi Tomiie, Sander Kleinenberg, Green Velvet, spin at 125 to 130 BPM.
I dig this sort of EDM stuff:
youtube.com/watch?v=l3g5x805Zc4

Studied CompSci in Undergrad. Worked in Web Development, Tech Support, IT Consulting, and Business Development roles. Not really a drinker, but enjoy the gooood green stuff that's sold everywhere in Colorado and Washington State and soon Uruguay. LOL!

BIG Open Source user and pusher!

Love: Linux (Debian variants), the BSDs, Open Data Kit for mobile data collection, Kobo Forms, MySQL/MariaDB, Web2Project, OpenCart and many more apps/tools that are not on the tip of my tongue.

Haven't coded in a while but I can read code. Looking to get into either Nimrod, Rust or D to stay current with new language tech -- maybe even Go.

Have done coding before in VB/ASP, JavaScript, C/C++, VAX Macro Assembler, Pascal. But a little rusty only because I was doing less development stuff and traveling/exploring another continent for almost a decade.

Looking to get back into Pascal via the FreePascal/Lazarus IDE project since I got started with Turbo Pascal. :-)

Hey all, I decided to sign up to the forum after being introduced to the WiFi Pineapple by a fairly well known US based hacker; he used one as part of a WiFi security seminar I attended 6 days ago. I placed an order for my own MK5 Pineapple the same day and it arrived yesterday, it took just just 4 days to process the order and ship from USA to UK! I've been glued to it with an evil grin on my face for most of last night and this morning so far - and am very impressed!

I found the HAK5 community from reading up on the web about the Pineapple, and it looks like a great place to hang out. I'll try to do my research before asking n00b questions.

I can guess, the last time I was writing code regularly it was in FORTRAN and it ran on a VAX. ;)

Hey Papadave, about the Pineapple Mk5 issue, you can read this post by Darren about the issue at play here. At the top of that page is an answer by him going into a little more detail about the general cause of the problem.

What it boils down to is that of the 2 radios in the pineapple, one should not be used in client mode. Since a typical approach will involve one of the pineapple radios in client mode and the other in a different mode (say, AP), as long as you don't demand that the troublesome radio is the one in client mode, there's really no issue. They're fixing the problem regardless, from what I gather by offering you a new USB wifi adapter that plugs into the Pineapple as an alternate radio (my understanding, could be WAY off).

From where I'm sitting there really is no reason for you to not go out and buy one, but it's your money and they aren't cheap so if you choose to wait, more power to you.

Worst. Advice. Ever.

The only redeeming facts cameos of nearly all of the original crew. Pity Dustin Nyugen didn't show up.
